Natalie Bossi - Piano Teacher

Natalie Bossi is a fully qualified and accredited Sydney piano teacher, located in Strathfield, but has students coming from neighbouring suburbs, such as Concord, Five Dock, Drummoyne, Burwood, Croydon, Ashfield and from the Eastern Suburbs, as well as travelling to them, should the time frame permit.
She is of Russian background and speaks and writes in fluent Russian.
Natalie commenced piano studies at the age of 4, studying with the Russian professor of music, Mrs Vera Kott. At the age of 6, she came to Australia and successfully auditioned to study at the Maria Metaxas Piano School, a respected and well-known music studio for its very high standards. She graduated to receive her diploma, the Associate of Music, Australia (A.Mus.A.) at 17 years of age.
Throughout her music studies, Natalie regularly performed at various Eisteddfords, as well as the annual Metaxas Piano Recital, held in the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and at the 2UW Theatrette in the city.
Natalie performed in various venues, including the then well known television talent show, ‘Holden Showcase’, travelled to America in 1976 to perform in the Russian Music Festival in San Francisco and on returning to Australia, opened her piano studio, now known as "Natasha’s Piano Studio” teaching students of all ages, levels and backgrounds.
Throughout the years, her students have been very successful, both those who sat for the AMEB examinations, achieving excellent results consistently, and those who chose not to sit for examinations but reached a very high level of musical ability and a development of their own repertoires.
Having always believed in making piano lessons enjoyable, building a strong rapport has been a great contributor to the success of her students.
Natalie's background of the correct piano training from the age of four, combined with the many years of experience on the concert stage, with a good understanding of exactly what is expected of students who do sit piano examinations for the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) offers students all that they need to achieve a very high level of piano performance, interpretation of music and very importantly, a development of a great love of music.
Natalie continues to welcome students of all ages, levels and interests to her studio to learn piano.
There is nothing quite like having the ability to play beautiful music... I tell this to my students all the time. It’s worth the daily practice you put into your journey towards reaching that point, where you are finally good enough to sit down at the piano and choose any piece of music that you would like to learn and be able to do that.
Just the other day, I sat down at the piano and started playing various pieces I had learned through the years... I was completely lost in the wonderful experience of it, that I couldn’t believe that 2 hours had gone by, without me noticing. I am truly grateful for this wonderful gift!!
